Alver Hotel’s very own pub, Skramkjelleren, takes its name from the famous Norwegian author, Amalie Skram (1846-1905), who had a strong connection to the area.  Skramkjelleren, which literally means ‘the cellar of Skram’, is a place of great ambience with a historic and rustic interior. The bar itself originates from the 1600s and the chairs are eloquently dressed in beautiful leather.

There are usually events on at the pub every fortnight, with live music and entertainment. With a capacity of up to 70 people, the pub is also an excellent location for your next birthday celebration, work party, end of year celebration, or reunion party.
